Covington, GA - Peter George Quayle, 69, a longtime Ishpeming resident passed away on Saturday, August 1st, 2020 at his daughter's home in Covington, Georgia.

Peter was born in Ishpeming on May 18, 1951, a son of the late Marie (Berger) and Donald Quayle also proceeded in Death by his brother Rodger Quayle

He was united in marriage to Julie Jacobson on May 29, 2004.

He was a member of the Bible Baptist Church of Ishpeming.

Peter worked for 331/2 years for CCI at the Empire Mine and the Humboldt Pellet Plant.

Peter loved the Lord and faithfully served him. He also loved to spend time at the lake going fishing, camping and riding the back roads in his truck. He also enjoyed reading Louis Lamour and listening to music. He was a life long Green Bay Packer Fan and loved to spend time with his family.

Surviving are: Wife; Julie of Munising, Daughters; Katie Ogea of Republic, Tina Rivord of Lomira, WI, Stacy (Shawn) Gaston of Covington, GA, Alisa Quayle of Knoxville, TN, Step-Son; James Walker of Naperville, IL, Brothers; Ralph (Susie) Quayle of Ishpeming, Bruce (Lynn) Quayle of Sheboygan, WI, 5 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Internment will take place at the Ishpeming Cemetery Columbarium, On Friday the 21 ^st at 10:00am for immediate family.

Celebration Service will be held on Thursday the 20 ^th at 6:30pm, At Bible Baptist Church Ishpeming MI. This will be and outside service to accommodate the social distance requirements.
