Ishpeming, MI- Peter Joseph Ogea, age 61, Ishpeming resident passed away of natural causes on Friday February 22, 2019 at his residence.

Peter was born in Ishpeming, Michigan on June 15, 1957, a son of the late Barbara C. (Lepisto) Ogea Ashworth and Peter Ombrello. Peter graduated from Westwood High School, class of 1976. He served in the Michigan National Guard.

Peter worked as a plumber, mostly for Levine Brothers Plumbing in Marquette. Peter enjoyed fishing and hunting and played in the West End Men's Pool League, local softball, horseshoe and bowling leagues.

Peter is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Ogea; two sons Anthony "AJ" (fiancée Deidra) Ogea, Cody (Samantha) Ogea all of Ishpeming; 4 granddaughters: Lily Cox, Violet Ombrello, Paislee Ogea, Tayla Keller, two sisters, Carolyn "Lynn" (Glenn) Koski, Ruth (Andy) Kandoll, four brothers, Dennis (Yong) Ombrello, Jeff (Rene) Ogea, Robert (Linn Carlson) Ogea, Ron (Heather) Ogea along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Peter was preceded in death by his father Peter Ombrello, mother Barbara Ashworth, and a brother Todd Ombrello.

Peter's family will greet relatives and friends from 4:00-6:00pm on Thursday February 28, 2019 at the Bjork and Zhulkie Funeral Home in Ishpeming.
