Ishpeming- Peter Francis LeSage was born in Ishpeming on January 2, 1946 the 4th child to Leonard LeSage and Helen Matheson LeSage.

He attended Ishpeming area schools and graduated from Ishpeming High School in 1964. He enjoyed music as part of the drum and bugle Corp "The Blue Notes" and aslo played drums in the local band the "StingRays . He married high school sweetheart Geraldine Coduti and had 3 children Roy, Cindy Rae and Leonard.

Peter was a welder and worked with several businesses in the Chicago area such as General Electric before returning home to work for CCI before retiring from the Empire Mine. He enjoyed his camp, motorcycling and hunting.

Peter is predeceased by his parents, brothers Ronald and Michael, his loving wife Geraldine and 2 children Cindy and Leonard.

Left to cherish his memory are his son Roy (Janet) Ishpeming, grandson Jamie (Cindy's son) Ishpeming. Brothers Gerald and Alan LeSage, Ishpeming, sister Marilyn Koski of Gladstone as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

A celebration of life will be scheduled in the spring. It will be announced in the Mining Journal as well on social media.
