Ishpeming- Peggy J. Anderson, age 65, lifelong Ishpeming resident, passed away on Sunday May 15, 2022 at UP Health System Marquette.

Peggy was born in Ishpeming on June 26, 1956, daughter of the late Randolph O. and Joanne M. (Rice) Anderson. She attended Ishpeming High School graduating with the class of 1974. Following graduation she worked as a custodian for Oberstar for many years.

Peggy loved animals, gardening, and spending time in the outdoors.

Peggy is survived by her daughter- Melissa (Jason) Thill, son- Casey (Amber) Anderson, sisters- June (Dave) Gilbert, Connie (Steve) Gaboury, nieces- Nicole (Kevin) Bracken, Krista Shiner, Jessica (Paul) Raihala, nephew- Jeremy Shiner, along with numerous other extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents Randolph and Joanne Anderson.

Following Peggy's wishes, cremation will take place with no public services. Peggy will be interred in the Ishpeming Cemetery with her parents.
