Obituary
Ishpeming – Pearl E. Forchini, age 93, formerly of 1963 Co. Rd. 496, in Ely Twp. passed away Thursday May 14, 2009 at the Mather Nursing Center where she had resided since April of 2005. She had recently been under the care of the Upper Peninsula Home Health and Hospice.
Pearl was born December 9, 1915 in Iron River, the daughter of the late George and Mable (Roberts) Mager. Pearl grew up in Negaunee, where she resided for many years. She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church along with the American Legion Auxiliary at the Lillian Larson Post.
Survivors include her sister Ruby Forchini of Ishpeming, along with several nieces and nephews. Pearl was preceded in death by her husband Angelo "Nick" Forchini in 1987 and a son Robert "Fisher" Forchini while serving our country in the Navy on the USS Eaton. Pearl was also preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.
Private family services were held, inurnment will take place at the Negaunee Cemetery.
