Ishpeming – Pearl B. Altobello, age90 life long Ishpeming resident passed away Wednesday morning on April 2, 2008 at the Mather Nursing Center where she been a resident since April 1995.

Pearl was born September 26, 1917 in Ishpeming to John & Exilda (Jandron) Mountjoy. She was a life long Ishpeming resident and a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.

Pearl is survived by 2 children: Dennis "Ozzie" (Judy) Altobello of Negaunee, Christine (John) White of Waterville, ME, 6 grandchildren: Tina (Jason) Spittle of Silver Lake, WI, Paul (Robyn) Altobello of Ishpeming, Joe (Juanita) Altobello of Albuquerque, NM, Dennise (Brian) Comire of Winslow, ME, Deanna (Scott) Masterson of Hampden, ME & Brian White of Waterville, ME, along with 12 great grandchildren. Pearl was preceded in death by her husband Paul, a sister Marie Bergstrom and a brother Francis Mountjoy.

A private family service will be held at Northland Chapel Gardens where entombment will take place.

A memorial service will take place at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church at a later date.

Memorials may be directed to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in memory of Pearl.
