Obituary

Ishpeming- Paulette C. Lynn, age 66 of 633 S. Pine St. Ishpeming passed away Tuesday June 10, 2014 at Marquette General Hospital with her loving family by her side.

Paulette was born September 15, 1947 in Ishpeming to the late Gordon R. & Ethel E. (Arseneau) Kjellman. Paulette was employed at Community Schools for several years, also worked at Jim's IGA in Negaunee as a baker for many years before going to the Mather Nursing Center where she was their cook for 10 years before retiring in September of 2007. She was a lifelong member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and a member of the Ishpeming V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary #4573 for 32 years.

Paulette enjoyed cooking, gardening, canning, crocheting, doll making, playing Bingo, playing cards and an occasional trip to the casino. Paulette had an amazing amount of Faith in God and instilled it on those who came in contact with her. She was a wonderful friend and neighbor and a devoted mother to her only daughter whom she shared an incredible closeness. Paulette will always be remembered for her strong opinions as well as her strong belief in the Lord and the path He has set for us.

Paulette is survived by her daughter Debbie Junak of Hortonville, WI, a brother Michael (Sheila) Kjellman of Ishpeming along with numerous nieces and nephews. Paulette was preceded in death by her parents, husband Marvin Lynn Jr, a sister Marcia Peterson and brothers Richard, John & Reynold Kjellman.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Monday June 16th at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with Fr. Greg Heikkala officiating. Interment will take place in the Ishpeming Cemetery.

Paulette's family will greet relatives and friends at St. John's Church on Monday from 10:00am until the time of service at 11:00am.

A luncheon will follow the service at K/D Hall at St. John's Church
