Arcadia, CA – Paul Joseph Roberts, age 83, of 171 Elkins Place Arcadia, California passed away at his home on Thursday November 16, 2017 while under the loving care of his family.

Paul was born in Negaunee, Michigan on September 25, 1934 to the late Jack and Carmen (Rappazini) Roberts.

Paul attended the St. Paul Catholic High School in Negaunee graduating with the class of 1952. He then went on to Northern Michigan University and graduated in 1956 with a Bachelors of Arts degree.

He enlisted in the U.S. Navy, serving from 1956 to 1960 with an honorable discharge as a Lt. J.G.

Paul was a self employed owner of E.D.P. Service as a computer analyst. He retired in 1995. After retirement he volunteered at local college fairs in southern California, recruiting and encouraging future students on behalf of Northern Michigan University. Paul always enjoyed helping people.

Survivors include his daughter- Cheryl Ann Roberts of Arcadia, CA, sisters- Rita (Robert) Corradina of Ishpeming, Lois (David) St. Onge of Ishpeming, nieces and nephews- Michael Comensoli of Monrovia, CA, Carol (Mark) Ayotte of Glendale, AZ, Lisa (Jeff) Hebbard of Brillion, WI, and Jim (Laura) St. Onge of Negaunee. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Nancy (Kaufman) Roberts on October 7, 2016.

A graveside service is planned and will be announced in the summer of 2018.
