Republic- Paul K. Perry age 67 of 660 Kloman Ave Republic passed away at his home on Monday October 31, 2016.

Paul was born December 17, 1948 in Negaunee, MI to the late Robert and Irma (Hanninen) Perry. He was a graduate of Republic High School, and served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Paul worked as an electrician for Amtrak Railroad in Chicago for 25 plus years. He was a Packer fan; he enjoyed bird hunting, watching sports & Jeopardy.  Paul was a life time member of the Grant Nyman V.F.W. Post, and was a SPCA donor.

Paul is survived by his son Jason (Amber Roberts) Perry of Republic, a brother- Keith Perry of Republic, 2 sisters- Mary Lou Messick of Zion, IL, and Gail (Rodney) Tarvainen of Covington, Significant other- Wanda Koski, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers: James, Melvin and Robert Perry and a sister Diane Mattila

Paul's family will greet relatives and friends on Monday November 7, 2016 from 1:00-3:00pm at the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home in Ishpeming where a memorial service will be held at 3:00pm with Rev. Kevin Kaiser officiating.

Military honors will be accorded by the members of Grant Nyman V.F.W. Post. A potluck luncheon will take place following the services at the Republic V.F.W.

Inurnment will take place at the Republic Twp. Cemetery.
