Obituary

Ishpeming- Paul LeBoeuf, age 93 of 439 Excelsior St. Ishpeming, passed away Friday, May 06, 2011 at the Marquette County Medical Care Facility where he been a resident since February 2011.

Paul was born October 19, 1917 in North Lake to Joseph & Eva (LaFond) LeBoeuf. Paul worked 38 years for CCI, first working as an underground miner working at the Maas Mine, Negaunee Mine, and Mather B. He later worked at the Empire Mine and the Republic Mine where he retired from as a heavy equipment operator.

Paul was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church, past member of the Moose Lodge, Eagles Club and the Junction Club. He was an excellent cribbage player enjoyed playing cribbage at the Negaunee Senior Center and the Ishpeming High Rise. Paul and his wife, Gladys recently celebrated 70 years of marriage; they enjoyed traveling together, taking 38 trips with Debbi Tours. They visited every state except two and also traveled to Europe.

Paul was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Gladys (Roseveare) LeBoeuf, 2 daughters: Pauline (Ronald) Murphy of Midland and Sandra (Edward) Ogea of Humboldt, a brother Roy LeBoeuf of Ishpeming, 4 grandchildren: Michael (Lori) Murphy of Midland, Kurt (Ann) Schultz of Champion, Amy (Dave) Bond of Negaunee and Sterling C. Schultz of Humboldt, 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Paul was preceded in death by a sister Flora, 2 brothers Edward and Joseph and 2 grandchildren: Charles Murphy and Tammy Murphy.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 noon, Monday, May 9, 2011 at the Wesley United Methodist Church in Ishpeming with Rev. Scott Lindenberg officiating. Interment will take place in the Ishpeming Cemetery.

The family will receive friends and relatives at the Wesley United Methodist Church on Monday from 11:00am until the time of service at 12:00 noon.

Pallbearers will be Sterling C. Schultz, Kurt Schultz, Edward Ogea and Edward LaFond.
