Ely Township, MI- Paul M. "Josh" Koski, age 73, Ely Township resident passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at UP Health System Marquette.

Paul was born in Negaunee, MI on May 20, 1949, a son of the late Andrew E. and Aili F. (Saari) Koski. He was a graduate of Republic High School, Class of 1967. Paul served his country in the United States Army during Vietnam era. He worked for Cleveland Cliffs Iron Company retiring as a material control supervisor.

Josh enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking. He was a member of the Greenwood American Legion Lillian Larson Post #114 and Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 380-Negaunee.

Paul is survived by his wife Karen (Lakanen) Koski, 3 children; Fred (Kim) Koski, Tania Harsila and Heather (Jason Patraw) Koski all of Ishpeming, 6 grandchildren; Brad and Tyler Koski, Tristen and Bryce Harsila, Lexie Koski, and Lillly Patraw, a sister Andrea (Stan) Smith of Kingsford, along with sisters in laws, brothers in laws, nieces and nephews.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers; Ronald Koski, and Wayne Koski, and son in law Randy Harsila.

Honoring Paul's wishes a private family service will be held.

Memorial considerations in memory of Paul may be made to a charity of one's choice.
