Obituary
Marquette, MI- Patrick Edward Barnett died on Wednesday morning, August 18, 2010, with his wife Michelle at his side at Marquette General Hospital.
Mr. Barnett was born on April 10, 1951 in Saginaw, Michigan the son of the late Edgar and the late Sylvia (Schreiber) Barnett. He was a 1969 graduate of St. Mary's High School and later received his BA from NMU in 1981. In 1984 he received the degree Juris Doctor from Wayne State University.
Patrick was self employed as an attorney in Marquette since 1986.
He was a loyal friend and will be remembered for his intellect, humor and his love of music, sports, movies, politics and life.
Patrick is survived by his wife Michelle J. (Upthegrove) Barnett, family and close friends who will miss him deeply.
Private memorial services are being planned.
