Obituary
Ishpeming – Patricia F. Stahl, age 84, lifelong area resident went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 27, 2012 while a resident at the Marquette County Medical Care Facility in Ishpeming where she had been since November of 2004.
Patricia was born March 8, 1928 in Diorite Loc. the daughter of Archie and Gladys (Ogea) Couture. She grew up in Clarksburg Location and attended the Diorite school. Patricia was a homemaker, having raised seven children. Patricia enjoyed doing craft work especially making quilts for her family members, along with flower gardening and vegetable canning. She was a member of the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
Survivors include her children – Diane (John) Hytinen of Ishpeming, Robin (Tom) Heikkila of Champion, Julie (Steven) McCoy of Ishpeming, Thaddeus (Donna) Stahl of Hesperus, CO, Danny (Sandy) Stahl of Tulsa, OK and David (Cheryl) Stahl of Lake Linden, her former husband Ron "Nestor" Norkoli of Champion, 2 sisters – Joyce (Bill) Walger of Round Lake, IL and Judy (Roger) Paquette of Walled Lake, a brother David Couture of Yakima, WA, along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband Thaddeus Stahl, a son Patrick Stahl, 3 grandchildren - Nicky, Tammy, and Kevin Stahl, a great grandchild Liberty Stahl, 3 sisters – Carol Norkoli, Annette Haavisto, Jeanette Collick and 5 brothers – Donald, Wilfred, Samuel, Arthur and Paul Couture.
The family will greet relatives and friends from 4-6pm on Tuesday July 31, 2012 at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Ishpeming. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 6:00pm on Tuesday at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Greg Heikkala to officiate. Interment will take place a Lakeview Cemetery in Michigamme.
Pallbearers will be Steve and Lance McCoy, Tommy and Jay Heikkila, John Hytinen, Conan, Danny Jr., and Michael Stahl
