Republic, MI - Patricia L. (Mentor) Lindahl Beckmann, age 95, of Republic, passed away on Friday, November 11, 2022, at her home while in the loving care of her family and the UP Home Health and Hospice.

Patricia was born in Kalamazoo, MI on April 1, 1927, a daughter of the late Nellie (Ranney) and Orlo Mentor. She grew up in Kalamazoo and moved to L'Anse as a young adult, and married Harvey Lindahl. Patricia had been a member of the First Lutheran Church along with a life member of the L'Anse VFW ladies auxiliary.

In 1969 Patricia moved to Republic, when she married Gilbert Beckmann, Sr. and had resided there since. She worked many jobs throughout her lifetime, mainly as a waitress at various supper clubs and bars. Patricia also worked in a Hardware Store and at a Woman's clothing store to name a few. She and Gilbert operated a craft and bait shop in Republic for several years. Patricia enjoyed dancing, working on puzzles, motorcycle riding, fishing, agate picking, gardening, and crafts. Patricia loved finding something to do and always kept herself busy.

Patricia was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and is survived by a son, Steven Lindahl of Republic, daughter Judy (Alan) Mattila of Republic; daughter-in-law Karen Beckmann of Negaunee; 2 brothers, Keith (Phyllis) Durkee of Clearwater, FL; James (now deceased) and (Anne) Durkee of Tucson, AZ; sister, Victoria Stroud of Kalamazoo; sister-in-law Barbara Durkee of Ft. Collins, CO; along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Gilbert Beckmann Sr.; son Gilbert Beckmann Jr.; daughter - Linda Walenski; stepdaughters - Leiloni and Rosalind Beckmann; brother Russell Durkee; sister Diane Durkee; along with her ten biological brothers and sisters.

A private graveside committal service will be held at the Evergreen Cemetery in L'Anse where she will be laid to rest with her husband Gilbert.
