Ishpeming- Patricia (Pat Clancey) Harvey, age 94 longtime Ishpeming resident, passed away on Friday, May 7, 2010 at the Mather Nursing Center.

Pat was born in Rober, MI on July 20, 1915 to Ellen (Ryan) Clancey and Patrick Clancey, one of six children. The family moved to Big Bay in 1918 and then to Marquette in 1930. Pat graduated from Bishop Baraga High School in 1934.

In 1937 she married James Harvey of Ishpeming and lived there for the remainder of her life. She worked at JC Penny Store in Ishpeming for many years.

Pat is survived by a much loved family, daughter-in-law Jackie Harvey. One granddaughter Suzie (Harvey) Kempfer and 2 great granddaughters, Megan and Kayla Kempfer of Thornton, CO. One dear grandson Dean Harvey of Ishpeming. Other survivors include sister-in-law Marquerite Thibodeau of Ishpeming and many special nieces and nephews on both sides of her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Harvey in 1971, a son Robert J. Harvey in July 2009 and all her siblings.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am Wednesday, May 12, 2010 at the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home in Ishpeming with Fr. Greg Heikkala officiating. Interment will take place in the Ishpeming Cemetery.

Family and friends may call the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home on Wednesday from 10:00-11:00am.

Memorials in memory of Pat may be directed to the activities department at the Mather Nursing Center.
