Ishpeming Twp- Norma J. Beauchamp, age 84 formerly of 1735 Iris St Ishpeming passed away Friday, April 25, 2014 at the Mather Nursing Center while in the loving care of her family.

Norma was born July 29, 1929 in Dearborn, MI to Allan & Edith (Griffith) Walker.  She married Donald "Haircut" Beauchamp on September 26, 1953 and he preceded her in death in 2009.  Norma was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was a former CCD teacher.  Norma enjoyed playing cards and was an avid sports fan.  She enjoyed listening to Hematite sports on the radio.

Norma is survived by 5 children: Denise (Brian) Polkinghorne of Ishpeming, John Beauchamp of  Cedar Rapids, IA, Gary Beauchamp of Ishpeming, Peggy (Dennis) Nault of Germantown, WI and Mary Kay  Perkins of Orlando, FL, 14 grandchildren,  4 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, a brother and numerous nieces and nephews.  Norma was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald, a son Paul, 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am on Monday May 5, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ishpeming with Fr. Dan Moll officiating.  Inurnment will take place in the Ishpeming Cemetery.

Norma's family will greet relatives and friends at St. Joseph Catholic Church on Monday May 5 ^th from 10:00am until the time of service.

A dessert luncheon will be held in the church fellowship hall following the service.
