Green Bay, WI – Noah A. Luokkala, age 4 weeks, infant son of Carol Luokkala, was called to the Lord on Thursday May 6, 2010 of an apparent SIDS death.


Noah was born April 6, 2010 in Green Bay, WI. In his short life, his mother will remember him as someone who enjoyed eating. He had just started showing his affection with recognition through a smile.


Noah is survived by his mother Carol Luokkala of Green Bay, WI, a brother Ezekiel Luokkala, his grandfather – Dave Luokkala of Ishpeming, great grandmothers – Carol Luokkala of Ishpeming, and Jean Lyons of Sault Ste. Marie, aunt Jamie Nicholas, uncle Daniel Luokkala both of Ishpeming, special friend Nancy Dell of Green Bay, WI, along with numerous great aunts, great uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Dixie Luokkala, and uncle David Luokkala Jr. whom also died as an infant.


The family will greet relatives and friends from 6 until 7 pm on Monday May 10, 2010 at the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 7:00pm on Monday at Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home with the Rev. Lauri O. Maki to officiate. Interment will take place at the Ishpeming Cemetery.
