Ishpeming – Nancy L. (Morcom) Loven, age 63, of 417 Salisbury St., Ishpeming, passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at UP Health System Marquette where she had been a patient for the past week, after a courageous battle with mesothelioma.

Nancy was born January 20, 1955 in Ishpeming the daughter of the Mary L. (Nelson) and the late Sherwood L. Morcom. Nancy was a lifelong Ishpeming resident and was married to the late Donald Loven. Nancy was proud to be a homemaker and loved the simple things in life; which included spending time camping and fishing, the outdoors and nature and going for rides either on the four-wheeler or her moped. She had been active in the Iron Range Woman's Softball League, Ishpeming Horseshoe League and the Ishpeming Dart League.

Survivors include 4 children – Sheri (Mike) Kugler of Gwinn, Donald Loven of Negaunee, Bradley (Ashlee Tasson) Loven of Negaunee and Brian Loven on Montana; mother Mary Morcom of Ishpeming, 8 grandchildren – Taylor, Maci, Aleisha, Marshall, Bailey, Kiara, Tayjsia and Paxton, 3 great grandchildren – Trey, Thia and Theo, brothers – Larry (June) Morcom of Ishpeming and Sherwood "Sam" (Carol) Morcom of National Mine, sister Julie (Bart) Boule of Ishpeming, along with numerous nieces and nephews and a special friend Mike Nault. She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Loven in 2003, and her father Sherwood Morcom in 2017.

The family will greet relatives and friends from 3:00 – 5:00pm on Saturday June 9, 2018 at the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 5:00pm on Saturday with the Rev. Lauri O. Maki to officiate. Interment will take place at the Ishpeming Cemetery.
