Ishpeming- Nancy Marie Denofre, age 86, life-long Ishpeming area resident, passed away on Tuesday, January 4, 2021, at the Marquette County Medical Care Facility while in the loving care of nursing home staff.

Nancy was born in Negaunee, Michigan, on May 19, 1935, the daughter of the late Leo Juchemich and Sylvia Lahti. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, cooking and baking.   She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Donald "Doc" Denofre.

Honoring Nancy's wishes, cremation will take place with no public services.   The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at MCMCF for the wonderful care she received there – you are all angels.
