Ishpeming Twp- Myrtle D. "Mike" Tasson, age 67 of 1400 North Lake Dr. Ishpeming Twp., passed away Monday, February 25, 2008 at her home.

Myrtle was born June 25, 1940 in Ishpeming to the late Leonard H and Myrtle I. (Renstrom) Klippel. She was a 1958 graduate of the Ishpeming High School and married Lloyd Tasson on June 11, 1960. Myrtle lived in Waukegan, IL for 33 years and moved back to the Ishpeming area in April of 1994. She was a member of the Good Shepherd Fellowship Church in Ishpeming

Survivors include her husband of 47 years: Lloyd, 2 children: Joseph (Paula) Tasson of Fitzgerald, Georgia, and Diane Tasson of Ishpeming, 4 sisters: Pat Hughes, Irene Mercer, Fern Bertucci and Janet (Sam) Genord all of Ishpeming, 3 grandchildren: Jennifer, Kevin, and Andrew, and several nieces and nephews. "Mike" was preceded in death by a sister Juanita Klippel.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 29, 2008 at 6:30PM at the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home with Jay Weidner officiating.

The family will greet friends and relatives from 4:00PM until the time of service at 6:30PM on Friday, February 29, 2008 at the funeral home.
