Big Bay, MI- Milton K. Tomkins, age 76 longtime Big Bay resident passed away Friday, March 28, 2014 at the Mather Nursing Center where he been a resident for the past week.

Milton was born October 8, 1937 in Ishpeming to the late Milton & Marie (Aho) Tompkins.  He served in the U.S. Army.  Milton worked in the Detroit area as a tool and die maker.  He was his Aunt Ruth's caretaker for 15 years.

Milton is survived by his wife Sharon Schilling, and an Aunt Ruth Aho of Ishpeming.

Honoring Milton's request there will be no services and cremation will take place.
