Atlanta, MI- Mrs. Mildred Irene Forrester, 90 of Atlanta, Michigan was called home to our Lord and Savior on the early morning of April 22, 2023. She was born in Flint, Michigan on August 17, 1932, to the late, John and Irene Woodbury. She was married to James Forrester III in Atlanta on December 6, 1952. Mildred enjoyed taking walks, watching television, puzzles, and baking homemade bread. She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her children, Evelyn (Ed) Shibler of Delia, Kansas; Elizabeth (Larry) Smith of Mesa, Arizona; James (Jody) Forrester IV of Ishpeming; Timothy Forrester of Atlanta; 17 grandchildren; 64 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Irene Woodbury; husband James and son, George.

A graveside service will take place at 1:00 PM on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at Briley Township Cemetery, Atlanta where Mildred will be laid to rest.
