Michigamme – Michele D. Delliss, age 59, longtime Michigamme resident passed away on Friday, November 18, 2016 in the ICU at the UP Health System Marquette.

Michele was born August 16, 1957 in Detroit, MI the daughter of the late Norman R. and Vereah M. (Dollar) Jarvi. She spent her childhood in the Detroit area, moving with her family to Michigamme in the early 1970's. She married the late Robbie Delliss on April 27, 1974 and together they had raised three sons. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Champion.

Michele is survived by her sons – Shawn Delliss of Michigamme, Kevin (Susan) Delliss of Eau Clair, WI, Jason Delliss of Calumet, along with Amy Dauphinais, 2 sisters – Barbara Weber of St. Clair Shores and Cory Dalecke of Republic, brother Michael Jarvi of Ishpeming, 5 grandchildren – Alyssa, Brenden, Dylan, Piper and Marlo, along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robbie Delliss on Jan. 14, 2013 and a brother Patrick Jarvi.

The Delliss family will greet relatives and friends from 10:00am until 11:00am on Wednesday November 23, 2016 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Champion. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:00am on Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2016 with Msgr. Peter Oberto to officiate. Interment will take place at the Lakeview Cemetery in Michigamme.
