Ishpeming- Michael "Ebo" Ringuette, 56, of 4 Dove Ln Ishpeming, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 22, 2011.

Michael was born in Ishpeming, Michigan on November 2, 1954, a son of the late Anna Marie (Peterson) and Daniel J. Ringuette. He graduated from Republic-Michigamme High School, class of 1972.

Michael worked as a general laborer for Cleveland Cliffs for 28 years working at the Republic Mine, Tilden Mine and retiring from the Empire Mine in 2001. Michael enjoyed woodworking, camping, hunting, skiing and riding his motorcycle and loved his black labs.

Michael is survived by two sons Jesse (fiancée Nicole) Ringuette, of Green Bay, WI; Jamie Ringuette, of Republic, MI, two sisters: Ann Marie (Wilfred) Mattson of Republic, Carmen (Stan) Kent of Tremont, IL, a brother Daniel (Sue) Ringuette of Howell, MI, 4 grandchildren: Cory, Andrew, Selena and Michael, his companion for many years Sandra Levi, nieces and nephews: Ronda, Leslie, Fred, Jeff, Christine and Jason. Michael was preceded in death by his parents Anna & Daniel Ringuette, a niece Alicia, grandfather Emil "Chief" Ringuette.

A private graveside service will be held at the Republic Township Cemetery.
