Ishpeming Twp, MI- Michael Robert Lauren, age 50, Ishpeming Township resident passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2023.

Michael was born in Milwaukee, WI on August 12, 1972, a son of Cheryl A. (Tryggestad) Lauren, and the late Robert J. Lauren. Mike graduated from Westwood High School, Class of 1991. Following high school, Mike enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he served for 8 years.

In his young years Mike enjoyed playing hockey, playing guitar, and was an avid Packer fan.

Mike is survived by his wife Holly R. (Heikkinen) Lauren, his 2 children; a son, Nathan Lauren, of Northern Cambria, PA; a daughter, Olivia (Jeremy) Whited, of Northern Cambria, PA; a grandson Camdyn Whited, his mother Cheryl Lauren of Ishpeming, 2 brothers; Jason (Laurie) Lauren of Greendale, WI and Jamie Lauren of Ishpeming, a niece Maisey, 2 nephews; Justin, and Javen, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Bob Lauren and his grandparents.

A Celebration of Mike's life will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at the Bjork and Zhulkie Funeral Home, where the family will greet relatives and friends from 11:00 am until the time of service.
