Ishpeming- Michael "Mikebob" Andrew Irvine, age 43 of 616 S. Pine St. Ishpeming, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 30, 2009 at the Bell Hospital in Ishpeming.

Michael was born in Grand Island, Nebraska on February 9, 1966, the son of Marlin and Ann (Michalski) Irvine. He graduated Ord High School 1984 and served our country in the United States Air Force. Michael was a certified mechanic and moved to the Ishpeming area in 1985 from Nebraska. Michael worked at many local dealerships and most recently was employed at Pepp Motors in Marquette. Michael loved boating, motorcycling, 4-wheeling, camping and anything that involved the outdoors along with being with his family.

Survivors include his wife Tiffany (Lindroos) Irvine of Ishpeming, his mother Ann Nelson of St. Paul NE, daughter: Jessica (Mike) Robinson of Ishpeming, step-children: Deserae Niemisto, David Niemisto and Dana Niemisto all of Ishpeming, grandson: Zachary Robinson of Ishpeming, sisters: Audrey (Alan) Brittenham of Ord, NE, MaryJo (Dan) Scott of Arcadia, NE, Carmen Jorgensen of Ord, NE, grandmother: Lucienne Michalski of St. Paul, NE, nieces and nephews: Dustin, Danielle and Devin Scott, Megan Jorgensen aunts and uncles: Robert Irvine, Gloria Rathman, Virgean Beckman, and Elaine Watson, and was expecting a granddaughter shortly. Michael was preceded in death by 2 infant sisters, an infant brother, step-father Carl Nelson, step-sister: Pamela Neel and his father Marlin Irvine.

Funeral Services will be held at the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home in Ishpeming at 2:00PM on Wednesday, June 3rd, with Rev. Tim Ott officiating. The family will greet friends and relatives at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12:00noon until the time of services. Interment will take place at Northland Chapel Gardens in Negaunee.

Pallbearers will be Tom Hebert, Brad Gleason, Steve Luokkala, Charles Sanders, Matt Watson and Brian Pepp.
