National Mine, MI- Michael B. "Molly" Cote, 58, of 6740 Co. Rd. 476 Ishpeming, (National Mine) passed away, Monday, December 10, 2018 at UP Health System Marquette.

Michael was born in Ishpeming, Michigan on February 12, 1960, a son of the late Beryl (Heighs) and William Cote.  Michael worked at a bearing factory in Wisconsin.

Michael loved spending time in the outdoors: hunting, snowmobiling, 4-wheeling, riding his golf cart and gardening.  He also loved time spent with family especially his grandchildren.

Michael is survived by a daughter, Ashley Marie (Dan) Vizena, of Gwinn, 2 granddaughters: Lily and Kylee Vizena, his significant other from many years: Shirley Gauthier, three sisters, Lucy Harrison, of TN; Carol Cote, of Waupun, WI; Darlyne Cote, of Ishpeming, two brothers, Bobby (Clara) Cote, of Gwinn, and John Cote, of Sedalia, MO, Step son Ronald (Sarah) Gauthier Jr, 2 step daughters: Amy (Erik Mattfield) Gauthier, and Alisha Gauthier, grandchildren: Taylor, Rihanna, Madeline, Hailey, Chantel, Michael, Noah, Andrew, Annabelle, Landon, numerous nieces and nephews.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, nephew Jamie Mattila, brother Duane Cote, sister Judy Kohtala, grandchildren: Michaella Nelson and Quinton Vance.

Michael's family will greet relatives and friends from 1:00-2:00pm on Saturday December 15, 2018 at the Tilden Township Hall, 3134 Co. Rd. PG Ishpeming with a memorial service at 2:00 pm with Rev. Stacy Pethke officiating.  A potluck luncheon will follow.

Michael's family would like to extend a special thank you to U.P. Home Health and Hospice for their great care, and to Karen Swenor and staff for their wonderful care they gave to Mike.
