Terrell, TX/Ishpeming, MI- Mary Lou DeLorensi, age 87 longtime Ishpeming resident passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2024, at her daughter's residence in Terrell, Texas.

Mary Lou was born on June 15, 1936, in Ishpeming to William A. and Myrle L. (Ryan) Pascoe. She graduated from Ishpeming High School, Class of 1954. Mary Lou worked as a clerk at Johnson Pharmacy which became Synder Drug Store at their downtown Ishpeming location where she retired from.

Mary Lou is survived by two children: son Steven (Pamela) DeLorensi and Julie (Randy) Welch,

Grandchildren Crystal (Pat) Seefeldt, Jessica Paulsen, Dan (Katie) DeLorensi and Melinda (Andy) Klarkowski, William (Jennifer) Welch, Nathaniel (Erin) Michniacki, Trent (Cassie) Welch, Amanda (David) Wilson, Christopher (Kelsey) Michniacki, and Jake Welch. Great grandchildren; Amanda, Jordan, Zachary, Connor, Mason, Jack, Finn, Vivienne, Shelby, Austin, Blake, Preston, Orion, Evey, Teagan, Brinleigh, Paisley, Wyatt, Nolan, Paxton, Maddox. Great great grandchildren; Landen, Colten, Kinsley, Tristan. A sister Roberta (Glenn) Sjoholm, brother-in-law William Hatch, nieces, and nephews. Special friends; Donald Ellis, Steve Lyford, Tina Fischer, and Rose Larson.

Mary Lou was preceded in death by her parents, husband Francis, sisters Sandra Hatch, Sue (Martin) Tasson, special nephew Shay Sjoholm, and sister- in-laws; Gloria Holm, Dorothy Truckey, brothers-in-law; Martin Tasson and Puttoe DeLorensi.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Sunday, July 28, 2024 at the Ishpeming Cemetery.
