Ishpeming, MI – Mark W Liljequist, 67 passed away on Sunday April 10, 2022 at his home in Ishpeming.

Mark was born January 10, 1955 in Babbitt, MN to the late Donald and Anita (Kokko) Liljequist.  Mark was a 1973 graduate of Madison Consolidated High School in Madison, IN.  After which, he lived in Iron Mountain, MI where he worked as a millwright. He later lived in Howard City, MI where he worked as an excavator.  Lastly, he lived in Ishpeming, MI where he worked as a truck driver.  He served in the Michigan National Guard for twenty-two years.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his daughter Lola (Matthew) McKindles of Winter Haven, FL, his son Kyle Liljequist of Ishpeming and his sister Nancy (Brian) Hamersma of Grand Rapids.

Honoring Mark's wishes, cremation will take place, and no public services are planned.  Family will gather at a place of their choice to honor Mark.
