Ishpeming- Margueritte Thibodeau, age 98 life long Ishpeming resident passed away Thursday April 13, 2017 at the Marquette County Medical Care Facility where she had been a resident since 2013.

Margueritte was born December 21, 1918 in Ishpeming to James & Martha A. (Wearne) Harvey.  She graduated from Ishpeming High School, class of 1936.  Margueritte was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ishpeming.  She enjoyed crafts, music, knitting and sewing and was know for her elaborate Christmas display outside her house.  Marqueritte was an avid Hematite fan and listened to all their games on the radio.

Margueritte is survived by a daughter Judy (William) Frailing of Ishpeming, daughter in law Julie Thibodeau of Ishpeming, 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 4 step great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson, along with nieces and nephews.  Margueritte was preceded in death by her parents, husband Arvid, son Arvid "Butch" Thidodeau, daughter Kay Anderson, brothers: James & Gordon Harvey and sisters: Olive Beljan and Gladys Sarvello.

Margueritte's family will greet relatives and friends from 10:00-11:00 am on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at the Bjork and Zhulkie Funeral Home where a memorial service will be held at 11:00 am with Fr. Dan Moll officiating.  Inurnment will take place in the Ishpeming Cemetery.
