Republic- Margaret L. Tobler, age 87 of 8735 Hawks Drive Republic passed away Saturday September 23, 2017 at her home while in the loving care of her family and U.P. Home Health and Hospice.

Margaret was born November 1, 1929 in Clinton Twp, MI to Glen J. and Grace M. (Housoner) Cleveland.  She worked as a cook for Michigan Tech at the Ford Forestry department in Alberta and at many area restaurants

Margaret was a member of the Covington V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary Post 8945.  She enjoyed cooking, baking, dancing, camping and time spent with her grandkids.

Margaret is survived by 5 children: William (Rose) Hall of Lapeer, MI, James Hall of Republic, Lynn Huling of Bourbonnais, IL, Brian Hall of Iron Mountain, MI and Cari Bohto of Crystal Falls, MI, a sister Velma Flagg of Leesburg, FL along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband William Tobler, a brother William Cleveland and a sister Ruth Taylor.

Honoring Margaret's wishes there will be no public service, inurnment will take place in the Republic Twp Cemetery.
