Ishpeming, MI- Lynn Marie Hill, age 81, of 135 Cliff Street Ishpeming, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at UP Health System Bell.

Lynn was born in Ishpeming, Michigan on July 6, 1940, a daughter of the late Walter W. and Ida Marie (Field) Wicklund. She graduated fromNegaunee High School, Class of 1958. On Valentine's Day in1959 she married her high school sweetheart, Lee "Sonny" Hill, and they were married for 62 years.

Lynn worked at Sears in Ishpeming as well as being a homemaker. She was an avid reader, she enjoyed sitting on her deck feeding chipmunks and birds, but most of all enjoyed time spent with her family, especially watching her grandchildren in their sporting events. Lynn was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church in Negaunee.

Lynn is survived by two daughters; Lori (Arnie) Wolthoff of Wabasha, MN, Kristen (Todd Ball) Hill of Ishpeming, six grandchildren: Brooke Scott, Matt Nielsen, Tessa (Dylan Hartzell) Nielsen, Taylor Kerkela, Annie (Quinten) Niepoth, Jake (Megan Syrjala) Kerkela, her brother Kurt (Sylvia Christy) Wicklund of Treasure Island, FL along with nieces and nephews.

Lynn was preceded in death by her Parents, husband Lee "Sonny" Hill June 2021, and a nephew Marc Wicklund.

Honoring Lynn's wishes, cremation will take place and a private family service will be held.
