Obituary
Ishpeming- Luther L. Andrews, age 83 of 712 Spring St. Ishpeming and former Chicago resident, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at the Bell Hospital emergency room.
Luther was born March 23, 1930 in Chicago, IL to Lester & Alice Andrews. He worked as a butcher in the stockyards in Chicago for Central Meat Packing. He enjoyed time spent with family especially his daughter Suzanne who was always at his side. Luther had an interest in cars, model trains, and watching Westerns. He was a wonderful cook and enjoyed family barbeques. He was a member of the Lansing Sportsman's Club in Lansing, IL.
Luther is survived by a daughter Suzanne (Harry) Manier of Ishpeming, a sister Jean Rovello of Palos Heights, IL, brothers: Jerry (Colleen) Andrews of Florida and Leonard Andrews of Chicago, a nephew Raymond Rovello along with numerous other nieces and nephews. Luther was preceded in death by his parents, and wife Barbara.
Private services will be held at a later date.
