Ishpeming- Lucy M. Fosmo, age 91 longtime Ishpeming resident passed away Tuesday January 29, 2019 at Brookridge Heights Assisted Living in Marquette while in the loving care of family and U.P. Home Health and Hospice.

Lucy was born March 15, 1927 in Eveleth, MN to Peter and Katherine Prebarich.  She graduated from Eveleth High School.  Lucy worked in the housekeeping department at the Mather Nursing Center for 25 years.  She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Ishpeming and the Ishpeming V.F. W. Auxiliary.  Lucy enjoyed time spent at camp at Brocky Lake.

Lucy is survived by two children Karl (Janice) Fosmo of Manitowoc, WI and Glenn Fosmo of Negaunee, 7 grandchildren: Ralph (Mandy) Fosmo, Karl (Jenny) Fosmo, Delia Fosmo, Femina Fosmo, Jaclyn (Ricky) Lear, Christyn Fosmo and Timothy (Shayla) Fosmo 1 great grandchild Alice Fosmo, a sister Rosie Dzubnar of Minneapolis, MN, along with many nieces and nephews.

Lucy was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ralph Fosmo, 4 sisters: Mary Erchul, Anne Penoncello, Miya Kochevar and Katherine Putzel, and 4 brothers: Steve, Nick, Frank and John Prebarich.

Honoring Lucy's wishes, there will be no public services.
