Ishpeming- Lowell Donald Aeh, age 90, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2014 at his residence in Ishpeming.

Lowell was born February 15, 1924 in South Webster, OH to Edward & Nellie (Finney) Aeh. He graduated from South Webster High School, then proudly served his country in the US Marine Corp. He was a World War II veteran who served in the Pacific Theater. After his honorable discharge from the Marine Corp he married Phyllis Dillow and they moved to Columbus, Ohio. While in Columbus Lowell attended Ohio State University and Capital University. Lowell started his own accounting firm in Columbus, Ohio where he worked until 2003.

Lowell was proud of his German heritage, tracing his family back to 1850 in Germany, find that his family name was once Ohlschlager. Lowell was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting and did his own taxidermy.

Lowell is survived by son David Aeh of Ishpeming, nieces of Lowell's from his eldest brother George: Janet, Janie and Ellen, nephew and niece from his brother Warren: Larry and Becky, and a niece from his sister Belma: Diane. Lowell was preceded in death by his wife Phyllis, who's family was loving and dear to Lowell.

A graveside service will be held in late March in South Webster, Ohio.
