Ishpeming – Louise Ann Argall, age 77, of 305 Lawrence Ave. Ishpeming Twp. went to be with her Lord on Friday, November 2, 2012 at her home and while in the loving care of her family and the Upper Peninsula Home Health and Hospice.
Louise was born April 4, 1935 in Marquette to the late Louise Bureau, who died giving birth to her daughter Louise Ann. She was raised in Marquette by her brother and sister-in-law Donald and Margaret Bureau. Louise was a graduate of the Marquette High School, Class of 1953, and married Ronald Argall on October 23, 1954. Louise had worked for several years as a check out clerk at the IGA grocery stores in Ishpeming and Negaunee.
Louise was a member of the Bethel Lutheran Church. She was active in making prayer shawls at both the Bethel Lutheran Church and the Salvation Army. She enjoyed spending time with her family, her Friday Senior BINGO with her friends, and an occasional trip to the Casino. Louise, along with her husband built their home in Ishpeming Twp. Family members remember Louise as a great cook, especially her pasties and homemade bread.
Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Ron Argall of Ishpeming, two sons – Gordy (Pam) Argall of Coventry, RI and Danny (Peggy) Argall of Cherry Valley, IL, a daughter Laurie (Pete) Lammi of Ishpeming, a daughter-in-law Pamela Argall of Ishpeming, her sister/niece Pat (Jim) Bureau-Jacobson of Whitewater, WI, a brother Clem (Betty) Bureau of Peachtree City, GA, sister-in-law – Margaret Bureau of Sun City, AZ, brothers-in-law – William Argall of Ishpeming and Dennis (Donna) Argall of Greene, RI, 10 grandchildren – Cheri Fera, Jillian Morse, Rebecca Argall, Lindsay Ladin, Leah Bergsten, Kelsey Argall, Brian Delongchamp, Tonya Karvonen, Katelyn Argall and Benjamin Argall, 12 great grandchildren along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her son Michael Argall on September 8th, 2012, sisters – Mary Tuuri, Leola A. Dionne, and brothers – Donald and Louis Bureau.
The family will greet relatives and friends from 11:00am until 1:00pm on Tuesday, November 6, 2012 at the Bethel Lutheran Church in Ishpeming. A memorial service will follow at 1:00pm on Tuesday at the Bethel Lutheran Church with the Rev. Lauri O. Maki to officiate.
