Obituary
Ishpeming – Lorraine M. Olgren, age 88, longtime Ishpeming resident passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at the Marquette Co. Medical Care Facility in Ishpeming where she had been a resident since April of 2006.
Lorraine was born May 30, 1923 in Detroit, MI the daughter of the late Frederick and Adeline (Fante) Peters. She grew up in Detroit, MI moving to Ishpeming in 1968, where she had resided since. Lorraine enjoyed watching TV, especially old movies and WWE Wrestling.
Survivors include a daughter Diane (Butch) Haglund of Ishpeming, a grandson Mike (Angie) Melka of Peshtigo, WI, two great granddaughters Kayla and Lexi. She was preceded in death by her former husband Ted Olgren and grandsons Jim and Rob Melka.
A graveside memorial service will be held this summer at the Ishpeming Cemetery where inurnment will take place.
