Ishpeming- Lois J. Mustonen, age 73, lifelong area resident, passed away on Monday February 28, 2022 at UP Health System Bell while in the loving care of her family and hospital staff.

Lois was born in Ishpeming on June 17, 1948, daughter of the late Fred and Cecilia LaForge. She graduated from Ishpeming High School and worked as a bookkeeper in the automotive industry for many years.

Lois loved to bowl, participating in the Ishpeming Bowling league for many years. She also loved knitting, reading, and watching Tigers baseball games.

Lois is survived by 2 children- Jason Roeder, Jeffrey Roeder, 3 grandchildren- Canyon, Chase, and Joey Roeder, 3 siblings- Ray, Bob, and Margaret, along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband- John Mustonen.

Lois's family will greet relatives and friends at the Bjork and Zhulkie Funeral Home on Wednesday March 9, 2022 from 2:00pm until 3:00pm. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00pm with Rev. Steve Weston officiating.
