Ely Twp- Lois G. Jandreau, age 63 of 1530 Co. Rd. CN Champion (Ely Twp) passed away Sunday March 15, 2015 at the Marquette County Medical Care Facility where she been a resident for the past 6 years.

Lois was born March 24, 1951 in Negaunee to Harry & Myrtle (Beatty) Snell. Lois ran the Big Brothers/Big Sisters BINGO program for many years. She also enjoyed playing BINGO and reading.

Lois is survived by her husband Larry Jandreau whom she married on October 31, 1970, 3 children: Larry (Lori) Jandreau Jr of Marquette, Terry (Karen) Jandreau of Marquette and Robert (Maranda) Jandreau of Ishpeming, 6 grandchildren: Tyler, Corey, Isabelle, Jacob, Grace and Carson Jandreau, step -grandchildren: Marc, Whitney and Savannah Nelson, 4 brothers: Joseph (Memory) Snell of Ely Twp, Billy (Barb) Snell of Ely Twp, John-Harry (JoAnn) Snell of Ely Twp, Larry Snell of Ishpeming, 6 sisters: Ruby (Bill) Tuttila of Illinois, Marcy Treloar of Ishpeming, Nancy (Tony) Misale of Illinois, Myrtle Hautamaki of Ishpeming, Shirley (Carl) Dehner of Ely Twp, Ida Rochon of Ishpeming, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters: Carol Rochon and Clara Dube and her step father Bill Wiiki.

Lois's family will greet relatives and friends on Friday, March 20, 2015 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 PM at the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home where funeral services will take place at 2:00 PM with Pastor Lew Pizzala officiating.

The family would like to send a special thanks to the staff at the Marquette County Medical Care Facility for their loving care during Lois's time there.
