Ishpeming, MI - Linda A. Lind, age 71, of 2017 Washington Ave., passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at her home.

Linda was born in Marquette on March 19, 1952, a daughter of the late Pearl (Niemi) and Eino  Pelto.  She grew up in Marquette and was a graduate of the Graveraet High School. She married Norman Lind and together they raised a son and daughter mainly in Alaska, where Linda worked as a travel agent. Following retirement, Linda and Norm moved back to this area. Linda enjoyed watching various TV programs and was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her husband of nearly 53 years, Norman Lind of Ishpeming; daughter, Jennifer (Rob) Meno and son, Erik (Rachel) Lind both of Anchorage, AK; 4 grandchildren - Payton, Brynn, Kaley and Violet; brother, Rich (Janet) Pelto of FL; brother-in-law Bruce Lind of Ishpeming; sisters-in-law - Bev (Jim) Price of Marquette and Barb (Joe) Holman of Harvey.

Per Linda's wishes cremation will take place, with no public services.
