Ishpeming - Linda Joy DeChambeau, 59, of Ishpeming, Michigan, joined the loving company of our Lord, Saturday, April 11, 2015 at UP Health System Bell, Ishpeming, Michigan.

Linda was born in Ishpeming, Michigan, on April 17, 1956, to Mr. & Mrs. Taisto Maki. Linda was married to her best friend and life-long love, Joseph DeChambeau, of Ishpeming, Michigan, on June 18, 1977, at St. John's Catholic Church.

A graduate of Negaunee High School, Linda then attended Northern Michigan University, before beginning her book keeping career for Westinghouse, Jasper Engineering, Industrial Products, Eye Associates, and Eastwood Nursing Center, before beginning her retirement.

Linda is survived by her husband Joseph DeChambeau and their children Robert and David, Ishpeming; mother, Mary Maki, Ishpeming; brother, Douglas (Kathy) Maki, Negaunee; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her father, Taisto Maki, and brother, Robert Maki.

Linda's family will greet family and friends at the St. Joseph Catholic Church on Friday, April 17, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 1:00pm on Friday with the Rev. Fr. Dan Moll to officiate. Interment will take place at Northland Chapel Gardens.
