Humboldt Twp, MI – Linda Lou Asmund, age 78, of Humboldt passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at the Trillium House in Marquette.

Linda Lou was born to Victor and Linda (Oja) Jarvinen in Ishpeming on April 12, 1943. She attended Ishpeming High School graduating with the class of 1961. She was united in marriage to Robert Marvin Pantti, and he passed away in July of 1999. She was united in marriage to Donald Asmund on August 18, 2000. Linda tried to live a good life and succeeded.

Linda Lou is survived by her husband Donald, children, Paula Pantti of Ishpeming, Cheryl James of Marquette, Laurel (Paul) Raihala of Gwinn, Grandson Joseph (Jessica) Sleeman, step son Jonathan (Patty) Asmund of Eliot, ME.

She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Robert Marvin Pantti, and brothers Vernon, Victor, and Bruce Jarvinen.

Linda Lou's family will greet friends and relatives at the Bjork and Zhulkie Funeral Home on Saturday, August 14, 2021, from 9:30-10:30AM. A funeral service will follow starting at 10:30AM with Pastor Steven Solberg officiating. Internment will take place at the Ishpeming Cemetery.
