Obituary
Ishpeming- Linda L. Anderson, age 60, Ishpeming resident passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at the Marquette General Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Linda was born October 5, 1950 in Marshfield, WI to the late Amos & Shirley (Brehm) Foster. Linda graduated in 1968 from Ishpeming High School. Linda was an avid bowler and softball player; she enjoyed playing pinochle and yahtzee. Linda was active with the EMMAUS Walk and Kerex (prison ministry). She also loved to listen to Christian music.
Linda is survived by her husband Gregg Anderson, two children: Jesse & Jaime Anderson both of Ishpeming, 2 brothers: Daniel (Mary) Foster of Absarokee, MT and Jerome (Karen) Foster of Ishpeming, 2 sisters: Donna (Bridgett) Haguewood of Roseville, MI and Debbie (Tom) Hammar of Ishpeming along with numerous nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Holly and a brother Kevin Foster.
A memorial service will be held 4:00PM Sunday, January 16, 2011 at the Wesley United Methodist Church with Rev. Scott Lindenberg officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Sunday from 2:00pm until the time of service at 4:00PM.
