Negaunee - Levine A. "Bud" Eliassen, age 84, longtime Negaunee resident passed away Thursday, September 14, 2023, at his home.

Bud was born in L'Anse, Michigan on April 8, 1939, a son of the late Joan Maxine (Chevalier) and Levine Eliassen. Bud served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. He worked in the construction business, mainly as a drywaller. Bud was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, where he attended Mass on Saturday evening.

Bud is survived by his children and grandchildren, brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents, his beloved wife Donna and a sister.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 22,  2023 at St Paul Catholic Church in Negaunee with Fr. Larry Van Damme officiating. The family will greet relatives and friends from 10:00am until 11:00am on Friday at the Church. Interment will take place at the Ishpeming Cemetery.
