Lee Campbell, 79, died peacefully on May 3rd, 2013 in Kaukauna Wisconsin.
Lee was born on January 18, 1934 to Casley and Dorothea Campbell. Lee was a lifelong resident of Republic, Michigan and graduated from Republic High School in 1952. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired from Cleveland Cliffs Iron Company. Lee loved fishing, bird hunting, cutting wood, and four wheeling with his friends.
He is missed by his wife Carmen (Birk) Campbell, daughters Jennifer (Alan) Peura, Michele (Jack) Vial, and stepsons David (Linda) Vernier, Ronald Vernier and nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Also surviving is his brother Linn Campbell and sister Beth Letendre, both residing in Florida. Preceding Lee in death was his mother, father and sister Marilee.
Honorary pallbearers are Fred Alatalo, Donald Carlson, Donald Kangas, Kris Warshawsky, Brock Vial, Alan Peura, and Jack Vial.
Services will be held on Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at the Bjork and Zuhlkie Funeral Home in Ishpeming Michigan. Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Minister Terri Branstrom will conduct Lee's memorial service at 5:00 p.m.
