ISHPEMING, MI – Laurel Landqvist, age 65, died on July 26, 2026.

Laurel was born on July 2, 1961, in Marquette, MI, to Lawrence Spencer and Patricia Clinefelter, and grew up in Negaunee.

Known by her friends as Lori, she was kind, caring, and spent most of her career as a caregiver. Much of her free time was spent creating crafts, weaving, crocheting, sewing, and making little gnome creatures. She enjoyed cooking and entertaining her friends. She also loved card games, live music, bingo, and scratch tickets.

Lori is survived by her loving husband, Peter Landqvist; her brother, Larry; three children, John, Ashley, and Kali; her two grandchildren, Lily and Amelia; her bonus kids, Annika, Paulina, and Mikaela; and their children, Elizebeth, Nora, and Elsa.

Services will be held at the Bjork and Zhulkie Funeral Home on Monday, August 17, 2026. Visitation will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. With a brief service at 7:00 p.m. and time for friends to share a favorite story about Lori.

Light finger food will be served during the visitation hour and at the conclusion of the service until 8:00 p.m. Please feel free to bring a dish to pass. If you have something to share, please coordinate with Pam Perkins who is organizing the event at 906-360-3661.
