Diorite, MI- Kurt Alan Langsford age 61 of 25580 Co. Rd. 496 Champion, MI (Diorite) raised in Ishpeming, passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at his home unexpectedly.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday November 14th, 2015 at Trinity Lutheran Church 414 E. Ridge St. Ishpeming, MI with Rev. Kenneth Lahners to officiate. The family will receive visitors at the church from 12:00 noon until the time of the service at 3:00 PM.

Kurt was born May 6, 1954 in Marquette, MI to Earl James and Mildred "Shirley" (Petersen) Langsford. He graduated in 1972 from Ishpeming High School. He was then employed at C.C.I. for 40 years working as a production truck mechanic for 23 years then as a production truck driver for the past 14 years along with various jobs before those. He met Eleanor (Allen) on September 7, 1978. They became husband and wife on April 26, 1980 in Wyandotte, MI.

Kurt loved the outdoors, camping, fishing, hunting, and taking walks in the woods with Eleanor. Along with sitting in there backyard together watching the deer come in. As well as time spent with friends, family, and his puppies that were dear to him.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years Eleanor, a special nephew Charles "Charlie" (Dessa) Laramie II, his mother Mildred "Shirley" Langsford, His siblings Scott, Larry (Nancy) and Jan Langsford, Cathy (Mike) Cardone, Sister-in-law Laura (Elaine) Allen Varney, Nephews Dana (Jeannie), Justin, Nieces Janene, Sunshine (Jim), Sarah (Joe), and many dear friends. Kurt was preceded in death by his father Earl James Langsford, Father-in-law George James Allen, and Mother-in-law V. Carolyn Allen.
