Ishpeming- Kristine Kay (Spitz) Ollila, age 51 of 215 N. Maple St. Ishpeming passed away Sunday December 13, 2015 at her home.

Kristine was born June 12, 1964 in Saginaw, MI to Susan (Roethlisberger) & Robert Spitz. Kris was a graduate of Carrollton High School in Saginaw. Kris was currently working as a call center supervisor for Superior Contact.

Kris was an avid card player, euchre being her favorite card game. She enjoyed going to the casino and playing BINGO. She had a huge purse collection and loved the aroma of her candles. Kris enjoyed baking and Christmas was her favorite holiday. Family was number one on her list, putting them before herself and she adored her 3 grandchildren.

Kris is survived by her husband Mick Ollila of Ishpeming, her mother Susan Deyarmond of Saginaw, her father Robert (Judie) Spitz of Hemlock, MI, 3 children: Ashley (John Carr) Spitz of Gwinn, Elizabeth (Donald Cotterman) Rokita of Ishpeming and Aili Ollila of Ishpeming, 3 grandchildren: Emilee Duso, Hayden Duso and Kamryn Carr, 2 brothers: Robert Spitz Jr. of Saginaw and Michael Spitz of Freeland, MI, her father in law and mother in law Reuben & Kay Ollila of Ishpeming, along with several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles including special uncle and aunt Bob & Donna Reed. Kris was preceded in death by her step father Marvin Deyarmond.

Funeral services for Kris will be held at 6:00pm on Thursday December 17, 2015 at the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home with Rev. Lauri O. Maki officiating. Interment will take place in the Ishpeming Cemetery.

Kris's family will greet relatives and friends on Thursday at the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home from 4:00pm until the time of service at 6:00pm.
