Ishpeming, MI - Kristin M. Marietti, age 58, of 102 E. Canda St., Ishpeming, was pronounced dead on Friday February 29, 2024 at her home.

Kristin was born in Marquette on February 16, 1966, a daughter of Katheryn (Smith) and the late Verlin Belfry. She graduated from high school in Mt. Pleasant, MI.  Kris' life took her in many directions, some of which included working in home health care, was a radio DJ on 103.3, the owner and operator of Pampered Paws Doggie Spa and did some over the road trucking. Kris attended the NorthIron Church.  She loved music and was gifted with a great singing voice along with the ability to play several instruments.

Kristin is survived by daughter, Amanda K. (Kelly) Ghanavati of Negaunee; son Austin Rambow of Negaunee; daughter, Alyssa Langness of Minneapolis, MN; son, Drew (Emily) Langness of Tucson, AZ; step-daughter, Shayna (Frank) Sundberg of Ishpeming, mother Katherine Belfry of Mesa, AZ, three brothers, Kim Nebel and John (Cindy) Nebel both of Marquette; Dennis Belfry of Traverse City, grandchildren: Andrew, Lillian, Dylan, Ella, Emmett, Esme and Addisyn, along with aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Kris was preceded in death by father Verlin Belfry and a brother Steven Belfry.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00pm on Friday March 8, 2024 at the CrossBridge Church in Ishpeming with Rev. Kevin McIlhany officiating.  A dinner and fellowship time will follow at the church. Interment will take place at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Munising in September.
