Ishpeming – Kinzy John Hietikko, infant daughter of Levi and Jennifer (Roose) Hietikko went to be with the Lord while in the loving arms of her parents on Thursday December 17, 2009, at the U of M, C.S. Mott Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor.


Kinzy was born November 18, 2009 at the Bell Hospital in Ishpeming, and was flown to Ann Arbor due to congenital heart defects.

She is survived by her parents Levi & Jennifer Hietikko along with "Bosko" of Ishpeming, her maternal grandparents – John & Cindi Roose of Ishpeming, her paternal grandparents – Trudi Koski of Ishpeming and Ken Hietikko of Ishpeming, maternal great grandmother Severina Roose of Ishpeming, maternal great grandparents Rosanne and Paul Anderson, paternal great grandmother Nora Koski of Calumet, uncle and aunt – Brandon (Lauren) Hietikko and their children Mason and Riley, aunt Michelle Roose and her daughter Lillee, aunt Jamee Roose and her daughter Ava Gobert, along with many great aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her maternal great grandfather Ed Roose, and paternal grandparents Gordon Koski, and Wayne & Barbara Hietikko.


The family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday December 22, 2009 from 3:30pm until the time of services at 5:30pm at the Bjork & Zhulkie Funeral Home with the Rev. Fr. Greg Heikkala to officiate. Interment will take place at the Ishpeming Cemetery.
